Its next to impossible to live a decent 65 years of life in India now. This question would have been relevant 65 years back.
Now, one would need every skill on earth, good contacts, heavenly luck along with inflowing bundles of currency to live a decent life, decent as it is supposed to be and not as we assume it out of no choice.

Hmmm...not from India but if you are saying 6000R, then it would translate to about 140.00USD a month. Or 1680.00USD a yr...or 110,000USD for 65 years. Either way attainable by age 30 in America if you work hard and save hard.

The answer is 25,00,000 INR.
This is how I calculated.
The GDP (nominal) percapita of India is $705 per year.
Multiply $705 with 65 years = $45,825
In Indian rupees you need nearly 25,00,000.

What you mean by "Decent"?
A Fridge, a microwave, a scooty, a car, a palace ....few decent things...isnt it?
If you cannot differentiate decent and luxury, then it would be hard to answer!
