Would the Messiah fit into todays multicultural society? I expect he would spend alot of time down at Speakers Corner putting the world to rights and then popping over the road into the rock cafe for a beer and a burger....well, maybe not a beer but defo a glass of red. He bloomin loved that when he was here before.

Well for a start he`d be horrified to learn that he was thought of as a god. Oh and another thing how come Jehovah witness believe every word in a book that was reworked and abridged from the original that omitted four gospels. Is it because they contained conflicting reports? Example: in the original the No of the beast is 616,not 666 Because the scribe that copied it misread it . The Jew`s hold the original and i`v seen it. at that time it was recorded that he was not the son of God.

The world he lived in before was pretty diverse. I think that it is only an illusion that people have somehow become more advanced or that the world has gone into disarray. The world is pretty much the same today as it was 2000 years ago. He didn’t fit in that well then and I don’t think he would fit in that well today. Look at anyone who preaches peace and love. John Lennon, Martin Luther King Jr, JFK; they don’t last long nowadays and they didn’t last long then.

Let's not get confused... Jesus is God. So, the real question isn't, "What would He think if He were here?" He is here. He knows everything about America and computers and any other thing that we sometimes don't imagine that God knows everything about.

So what does Jesus think about our modern world? I can only offer you what He tells me about my life. He tells me that I get too comfortable sometimes. It's easy to do that in a modern America where even our poor are rich by the world's standards. When I'm that way, I rely less on Him and think less about the struggles of others.

He tells me that I am distracted easily. With endless opportunities for entertainment (t.v., movies, sports, internet, video games), busyness, and endless commercial solicitations, one's modern mind can wonder. When I'm distracted, I think less about the things that Jesus cares about like prayer, praise, reading His holy word, and service to others.

I do not know the mind of Jesus so I cannot say what he would think. I can say that I do not think we are living according to what he taught. But once again I am interpreting his parables. Basically I am grossly unqualified to even answer this question.

i think he'd be quite amused by the antics and agendas of "the evangelicals". i don't think that's quite "the path" he had in mind, eh? ;-) never have so many strayed so far while thinking so much about how holy they are. that rhymes AND seems pretty accurate to me ;-)))))) (feel free to quote me) ;-) and, this just in, discovered, synchronistically?, after i submitted this, and added. http://test.denverpost.com/ci_5107908 can you spell hypocracy?

Well if he came back no doubt he would find it as strange as any other person coming back after 2,000 odd years! However as he is God as well as man he would be able to cope!

He would've probably spent slightly less time with miracles and would've spent more time cashing in on the water to wine thing.
