Don't you think America needs a right wing party to stop illegal immigration, fight crime and win the war on terror, and also to preserve American culture?

I couldn't agree with you more. I think Newt Gingrich might be just the guy to do it...at least, I'm sure hoping so. There's talk he's going to run, and I couldn't be happier!

I agree, the Republican party is pretty moderate these days, but as a fairly moderate independent myself, i say THANK GOD. I also think the issues you brought up can be resolved by non-conservatives just as well as conservatives. Republicans just say they are better at resolving these issues to get conservative voter support. This is why i hate both the Republican party and the Democratic party, instead of doing what the country needs, they worry about getting the most support in order to gain power. It's all about power, not what's best for the country. Keep following party lines so you can keep getting votes so you can stay in power.

Why? The US already has 2 of them - the Republican Party and the Democratic party.
As a Brit looking in on US politics, believe me when I tell you that what people call "left wing" in US politics is to the right of most right-wing parties anywhere else in the world. Proper left wing parties believe in actually taking care of the poor and less fortunate in society, rather than kicking them when they're down; they believe in workers' rights, environmental protection and equality of access to public services irrelevant of class, clolour, creed or religion - hardly the situation in the US.
The USA needs a real LEFT WING party that puts the rights of ordinary people above the needs of the rich and the multi-nationals who currently run the US.
