Yes, start brushing her teeth now. You can use your finger, a soft cloth or a special made brush for babies. No need for toothpaste though, you're basically just massaging the gums and getting her used to having her teeth brushed. As far as the pacifier, if she's comfortable with the small one then just let her keep it. It won't do any additional damage to her mouth than the big ones would. She's fine to have it at this age, it gives her comfort so don't worry about what others think. Popcorn is bad for kids under one but I'm not sure about the tomato sauce.

My daughter (1 year old now) didn't want to have ANY baby cereal of any kind when she was 8 months old. But kids are different. If she likes it,let her have it. If not, try to be creative by mixing some fruit with it or switch to a more grown up food. They get used to tastes too fast and you have to keep up with them.

With the pacifier, I would let her have it when she is going to sleep and take it out of her mouth when she has fallen asleep. This way, she has the sense of security by having her old binkie and you don't have to worry about her teeth.

Table food to avoid until 1: honey, egg, anything too greasy or too salty. I was never too picky about what my daughter would have and let her taste a bit of everything we were eating so she could get used to the taste, and now she LOVES to eat food.... any food. If you have tomato sauce in your pasta and you are giving it to her and she likes it AND she doesn't have any allergies .... let her have it (Again, this is all my experience and it worked for me)

first of all, do not try to make her use a bigger pacifier, keep her on the newborn size, as their mouths get bigger they seem to enjoy them less. If she likes the cereal, keep her on it, it is full of iron that growing babies need."Good foods to try include boiled noodles, cheerios, canned green beans, canned carrots, buttered toast. at this age they really become interested in finger foods they can feed themselves.Don't worry about the pacifier, our dentist told us as long as our kids did not use it after 18 months to 2 years it wasn't really an issue.

Ok...I have a 18mo old and had the same questions when he was younger. She can have baby cereal for as long as you feel she wants it.
There is a great website what will let you know at what age and stage she needs to be eating what foods and can eat what foods. As far as the "binky", let her have it. Mine kicked his out on his own at 7 months but I have a friend whos little one is going on 17 mo. Dont rush it, if they need it only to sleep, that is atleast an improvement over full time binky use. Dont rush her.
The food website is meant for natural foods so you dont have to use gerber jarred foods (which I did make all his foods for some time but he soon grew out of it) But I also found the charts helpful to decide when and what to feed him. I printed out a copy and its still hanging on my fridge.
The site is www.wholesomebabyfood.com
click on baby solid food charts on the left and voala!
Good Luck and you sound like you are doing great!
