No. You wont feel satisfaction in your life simply because you have a lot of money. Satisfaction comes from within. If youre a good person and treat people right and be the absolute best person you can possibly be then you will be satisfied.

It is true that in general people do not get satisfied even after getting each and every thing of their comfort. But, if a man starts thinking about his fellow beings who have been denied even petty facilities then he may not only get satisfied but even start charity and helping others. Gandhi Ji used to say that before starting any new work one should think ,is it going to help the poorest man in the country? If the answer is affirmative then go and commence the work. On similar lines if the man starts thinking about his neighbour, street, city ,state and the country, then he will definetely work for the betterment of the society and will himself be satisfied with whatever he has got. There is a small story related to this concept. A very rich person was having very poor neighbour who barely managed his daily meals, but he was happy and satisfied while the rich man was not at all satisfied. So the rich man complained this to a Saint that my neighbour even being very poor is satisfied and I am not. The saint told him to throw a purse of money containing RS 99/-into the house of his neighbour during the night and observe the situation from next day onwards. The rich man did the same during the night.and from the next day his neighbour was sailing in the same boat as the rich man i.e. the poor man was now completely dis-satisfied and trying his money to be RS 100/- as early as possible.
Therefore, the moral of the story is if one does not have anything he may be satisfied but if he gets something then he becomes dis-satisfied and starts worrying about increasing the same. Scientifically ,also if a humanbeing gets satisfied with his achievements , then he will not try to improve or investigate further and his progress will stagnate. Therefore, if one wants to go ahead and progress then he should not be satisfied with his present position/status.

Greed is an element of motivation for people to get rich. Many are propelled to earn and makes money because of the greed. So, to get satisfied, is to get more money. I think for many of them, it is beyond the point of earning a living wage but a game of number.

No. When we answer a question here, they give us points, then we want more points, so we answer another question... and that´t the way it is in every aspect of our life. Unless you feel in real peace with yourself, then you will stop seeking for material satisfaction.
