I work in the falls and the Canadian side is a hundred times nicer than the American side which is actually quite crapy. The Marriot, the fallsview casino, the sheridan are all nice. The newest one is the Great wolf lodge i believe it is called is neet but perhaps geared more to families. Good luck and have fun.

The Hilton Falls View is very nice, but pricey.
The Sheraton is nice too.
Remember you need to ask for a room with a view of the Falls if you are interested in having the view, and be prepared to pay for it as well.
The Canadian Falls is much more beautiful and at least you can see the falls from the Canadian side.

I don't know of this for sure, since I have never been there, but I have heard the New York side is much more beautiful.
I also heard there are some nice hotels there, some secluded some not, but all are at a reasonable price.
Waterfalls are very loud, but it may even help lull you to sleep also.

go tot he fallsview casino and hotel. it is the best. has great services and stores in the hotel. wolfgang puck resturant is across the street. their is a nice hilton across the street but fallsview has everything under one roof and great spa too. if you go to niagara-on- the-lake about 30 minutes away, it is very quaint town with great inns. try the prince of wales inn there, they have a fantastic restaurant there.
