I have HBr - hydrobromous acid. i know it's wrong, but what is the answer? i will award a best answer for this.

Br- = bromide
BrO- = bromate(I) or hypobromite
(BrO2)- = bromate(III) or bromite
(BrO3)- = bromate(V) or bromate
(BrO4)- = bromate(V)) or perbromate

Bromite is BrO2-

I guess then sodium bromite is NaBrO2
and hydrobromic acid is HBrO2
