Every PPV now seems to have the same end result. The "faces" or "good guys" win. Whatever happened to the balance in writing where the "heels" were able to win big matches? Kids love to see the "good guys" win and it seems as though that is who Vince is aimed at right now. But what about the "old school" fans that like a bit more versatility in the writing and outcomes. And I know I will get some jerk with nothing better to do than type "it's fake, watch something else". To those fools I'm grown and I know this, so don't step to me with it. Either answer or don't. So give me your thoughts people!

Thats so true, and it terrible booking. There are really no credible heels on Raw right now because Orton has been booked terribly over the last two years. He hasn't won a feud since Foley in 04. Edge has also been booked to look weak over the last several months.

Plus, even when the heels win, they cheat everytime. I want to see heels get clean victories every once in awhile.

It seems to me that the WWE is trying to please fans now and putting no consideration into the future.

Lets just hope a heel (either Orton or Edge) can win at WM this year.

Yeah I know exactly what you are talking about. Last night was so predictable and every match went out with the same winner as went in as the champion. There was no exchanging of titles or anything, just John Cena "amazingly defeating all odds" and the hardy boys winning by luck of the ref not looking and then during the rumble when Chris masters actually elminates himself by just jumping over the top rope after RVD missed him. It would have been nice if at least one of the titles had changed last night or if it wasn't so predictable who was going to win the rumble. There is no fun in buying the PPVs if you already know what is going to happen.

Thank you. I couldn't agree more. Vince is making wrestling a hero show (Look at me! I'm John Cena! Listen to my half assed rapping! Watch me beat Umaga with my overdone finishing moves!)

They don't look at it from the big picture. Sure little kids want to watch, but are they the ones who are buying WWE merchandise? Hell no! TNA is much more balanced. How long was it ago that Kurt Angle, superstar of the century of TNA, turn into the biggest Heel youve ever seen since Jeff Jarrett? 2 weeks!

And Cena? he spent 6 long years as a face, losing credibility by the second!

I do. I think Vince is going backwards in his creative writing scheme. This was the type of writing (faces vs. heels) that Vince was using in the 80's through the early-90's, which was insanely popular during that time. He wrote for the kids. I guess when the kids started growing up, the writing grew up. Which brought in the Attitude era (Sex, Violence, Mayhem, Crash TV). The Attitude era went as long as it could, lasting from 97 - early 01.

So I guess is starting back from scratch with the faces over heels formula to grow a new breed of fans. As much as I hate it!

I completely agree with you. Cena/Batista are carrying the company literally. They need to spend some more time developing talent and stop making indestructable champions. I'm tired of all the new guys coming in with undefeated streaks and I'm basically tired of all the predictability. I want the Attitude era back. I'm glad TNA is coming along and getting bigger. Vince needs some competition to get him and his staff off their lazy rich fat asses and come up with something original. I wanted to throttle someone when I saw the whole King idea played yet again. (Macho Man, Booker T) and the whole two Kane's thing? (undertaker already did it.) Its like they think we are stupid or something. I don't even watch anymore I just look at results online. I'm waiting on originality and imagination to take over again.

i have ato agree with you i stoped watching the pay per views becuase it is the same thing on raw.
I mean Cena has had the tittle for how long now? Let him lose so what the teen age girls would be made for a few weeks oh well.
i mean ever notice how no tittles change hands on the pay per view?
they are not even worth buying any more.
me my self i think that some of the heels have more talent than the faces

I agree with you. I've been a fan for 20+ years. I would love to see some bad guys hold the title. I have nothing against John Cena or Batista. But my favorite is Mr. Kennedy. It would have been nice to see him come out as champion.

Technically, old school would be the good guy always winning in the end. The Attitude era, to me, is still not to be considered "old school". The 80's is where its at as far as I'm concerned. That timeframe had more memorable characters who had alot more staying power, not to mention interest in wrestling as an actual PROFESSION as opposed to using it as a springboard to something else.
