It seems like my Telivision screen is always dirty. Even a day or two after cleaning. I use Windex. I tried Windex with Vinegar but its the same result a day or two later.

I was thinking about rubbing alcohol but dont know if that would hurt anything. Guess i could try it on an older TV. There has to be something that can cutdown on the way the TV collects dust. Any Ideas?

Pledge Multi Surface cleaner. It helps control the dust a bit more than Windex.

Dust is going to happen no matter what. The static electricity from the picture tube is like a "dust magnet". The Windex is good. You can also buy the stuff they sell to clean computer screens. You;ll never get away from a dust free screen.

Rubbing alcohol won't ruin it, unless you let it drip into the electronics, but either way, you will still get dust, because of the static surrounding the tv set. Unless you eliminate all the dut in the air, your tv will still collect dust.
The only way around that, would be to put a plastic cover over the tv, if its clear, then you can watch tv through that. Unfortunatly, you wouldn't get a real clear picture.
