I was so suprised last week NO ONE commented on this new show. Show 2 was even better than the 1st. Hey Sci-Fi fans are you not watching this? There was more response to so -so Eureka.

I'm watching it. And you're right - it is surprising that no one (even me) mentioned it. Maybe because last week was the first for Heroes in awhile, and most people were focused on that. I like the show so far, so I'll definitely give it a chance. It helps that the hero of the show isn't a "pretty boy", but instead seems like a real person. Even if he is a wizard.

I fear that Dresden Files will not last long. I was a huge fan of the book series by Jim Butcher and so far have been pleased with the TV series. It is cleverly acted, well-scripted and overall, smart and enjoyable. Of course, nowadays that spells disaster. I'm afraid it's too smart and clever for the American public...all the really great shows (e.g., Freaks and Geeks, Sports Night, Arrested Development) have short lives because the average viewers wants a dumbed down show that doesn't require much thought.

However, Doctor Who (God, I love that show!!!) seems to be doing well, so here's hoping that Dresden Files will last!
