I have a right hand drive Hyundai Elantra and now live in France and need to alter the headlights for driving on the left - can the lights be adjusted as they have clear lenses and seem to be like a 'projector' inside or do I have to buy complete new units?

THere is a rubber seal on top of the adjustment screws that needs to be removed in order to see the screws. The picture shows what screws do what.
So to answer your question, no you dont need to buy new headlights.

You really shouldn't nee to unless you are talking left to right horizontal alignment.
there are adjusters and the best way to find them is a manual then you need to be on a flat surface with lights pointed at a perpendicular wall....

for what i know, in france you drive at the right side, peraps you are confused and don"t put att. that you are in england. anyway, the headlights are asimetrical torches, so ,to drive at de left or right, you need to CHANGE them for the apropiate kind. it"s not posible to adjust, and it"s ilegal.
