No we don't. There are too many idiots out there who would want a rifle for themselves, and would bust out our truck's window to take it rather than buying themselves one. That's what god made glove boxes and trunks for. :) Pistol in the front, rifle in the trunk...always. Not that it is necessary, either, we live in a nice subdivision and have never had a problem. It's my right, and why not be prepared just in case?
P.S. We also must not forget the importance of BOBs (bug out bags).
:)

No pick up, but being a cop, here is what I do have.

1.Carry a Glock 17 with 18 rounds locked and loaded on my hip.

2. In the front seat of my cruiser I have a Remington 870 Magnum with an extended magazine with 7 rounds and a ammo pouch with 6 more rounds attached to the stock.

3. In the trunk I have a Rock River Arms AR15 with five 30 round clips.

In my house, I have a Glock 26, 9 mm, with two 10 round mags in my night stand. There is a 30/30 Winchester in my office... And a Savage Arms .22 rifle in the closet.

So, for what ever "varmint" I come across... I have just the right tool to dispatch them home.

No gun rack. No pickup.

Two hands. Two feet. Fast reflexes. Don't even flinch.

I think you should have the biggest firepower you can fit through the front door. That'll cut down on that early Saturday morning lawn mowing.

Sing along with me folks,"Happiness.....is a warm gun...."

I served in the Army in Ft. Gordon Georgia . And I was astounded at how many pick-up trucks had gun racks there . It's definitely a regional thing .

My gun rack rarely gets loaded. But it can comfortably carry 3 weapons of large caliber.

Haven't seen a gun rack in truck since I graduated high school in the early 80's.

Only problem is AlQuida is a myth. The Muslim Brotherhood attack the WTC
