So i just started taking my UTI medication yesterday and now im on my period. do you think it would be okay to continue the medication even though im on my period? or does it even matter??

Any medication they gave you for a UTI should not affect your period, and even if it would disrupt your cycle slightly, getting rid of your infection is the important thing right now. If it mattered, your doctor would have said something to you when he/she prescribed it to you.

I don't think it should matter because the medication is going in your bladder and through your urethra.
Maybe use a tampon just to keep everything separate and dry... don't suffer with UTI another day...OW!
