I wonder why all the contestants on the game show "Deal or No Deal" are made to wear solid, bold-colored tops. Also, I heard that a yellow room can make people depressed or crazy? True?

I believe That that it is self evident that colour effects behaviour, Look to nature, there is colour I know that if I was forced to live in a place where there was no colour, I would truly go mad. the only person who can adapt to this is a person who is totally blind. and I am sure given a choice they wouldn't choose blindness On the other side of the coin there thousands of people that make their living by selling colour to people. Be it Art, clothing, decor, I can not say for sure if one specific colour effects all people but it is proven that some colour's do affect a lot of people. And most of these colour's are the strong ones Red Black Gold Green Blue. Think of the time the Auto Makers have when it comes time to choose all the colour's for vehicle. No colour is required in daily life

It's true... Otherwise goverment regimented correctional facilities wouldn't spend millions of dollars painting their facilities baby powder pink and baby blue.

It is to soothe the savage beast...

Vibration, frequency, tone and tamber, also elevate or drive mood down into anger or rage depression or hatred...

Some of us understand how color, light, frequency and vibration are all tied into one experience. Music is vibration and vibrations cause heat which can be measured on a color spectrum in both ultra violet and down into the regular fields of vision.

It is all tied in to everything. So Yes, Color is very important to healing and well being, so is sound!

I heard that the color red is supposed to make you more hungry. I don't know if it was in the movie "Super-Size Me" or not, but somewhere I heard that McDonald's purposefully chose bright, garish colors that would encourage people not to spend a long time sitting in the restaurant. It's interesting to see now when they're trying ot encourage people to eat there that they're redesigning their restaurants with more muted colors.
