my Indesit G32VS dryer is 15 months old, just out of guarantee of course. It has now decided to speed up & revolve one way instead of alternating direction every few seconds. Anybody know which part it requires. many thanks

When you take the back off, look around inside first to see if you see any parts loose or broken. I would look for a broken belt first. First time I have seen an alternating dryer cycle.

My washing machine would not turn and I just replaced the belt. It was $20 US and the repairman would have charged $100. The cheap washing machine only cost me $120 to begin with. lol

Anyway good luck with repairs.

These type of machines are only designed to last until the guarantee is up! then you have to go and buy another one. The part to fix it, could end up costing you the price of a new one anyway! buy a zanusi - they last longer

You should be able to find your belt here: http://www.espares.co.uk/search/tumble-dryers/indesit/p/1088/805

It should only cost around 10 quid.

Timer unit is faulty. Part number 1700938 cost approx £30, if your not confident in fitting it, get a engineer in.
