There are too many commercials during EVERY television show, especially the sporting events. It is the price we pay in exchange for this FREE service. Have you noticed that everything in life that is free comes with the catch that you have to expose yourself to a bunch of people trying to sell you something?
The TV remote is the best invention there ever was; enables me to try and actually find something other than a sales pitch to watch during a TV time-out.
Oh yeah, and as long as I'm going off here, have you noticed how much smarter college football coaches are than pro coaches? College coaches can look at the game clock and tell there are two minutes left in the half. In the pros, they have to stop the game to tell the coaches (who presumably aren't smart enough to know). No doubt, this was cooked up by the networks years ago as an excuse to get in more commercials.
Whew! I feel better now! (Grin)

I hate all the commercials during football!!! It is way out of hand. There should only be commercials after a touchdown or field goal. Not every change of possession or turnover or punt or kickoff! The Super Bowl is the worst, the commercials are lame and to often. They are making it really hard to watch sports these days. However no matter what, I know I'm not going to stop watching. I will settle just to complain every now and then.

Yes I agree there are way to many commercials but thats one of the things a lotta people like the most about the Super Bowl is all the commercials they play because they are all new ones and some are really funny to watch.

Absolutely. They should cut it down and block them all together at half time. That way if anyone needs to make a beer run, take a potty break, etc. there will be time, and you don't have to wait in suspense during the game. It's gotten worse over the years. If I wanted to watch commercials all day, I would turn it to HSN or something....I wanna watch the GAME! :)

Yes there are too many, but during the Super Bowl that is when the new ones come out. They are pretty funny. The half time show is what I think is gone overboard.

For the kind of dough they spend for 30 seconds I'm surprised they don't have a commercial after every snap.

I think there are but the super bowl costs a lot of money and thats how pays for a lot of it, sponsoring. So I have learned to just enjoy them and look for the new ones :)
