My boyfriend and I have decided on not really celebrating Valentine's Day this year as our one-year-anniversary is ten days later on the 24th and we can celebrate everything then. All we plan on doing for Valentine's is going out with my parents on the 16th to celebrate, not only Valentine's, but that day is their 22nd wedding anniversary. However, just in case he decides to get me something for Valentine's, I was thinking about getting him a little something. He's a huge Georgia Tech fan so I was thinking a teddy bear with the logo or Buzz on it with a rose and maybe a card. Is this idea too corny? Or should I just not get him anything since we're not really "celebrating" the day?

My husband and I both have done what you and your boyfriend are currently doing. My suggestion to you is to go ahead and get a little something, tuck it back - just in case he changes his mind and gets you a gift, and if he doesn't get you a little something, don't be disappointed, just give him the gift on your 1 year anniversary. Get him a card for Valentines Day for sure, one that states your heart and emotions for him and your love for each other.
Best wishes to you both!

When such great ideas are flowing in a streamlined fashion in your mind, carryon with one among them... It works well and everything shall happen as anticipated..

Never ask others to say something as these kinda matters are very delicate and personal.
