Yes i met my soulmate 11years ago when i was 17 . We were so much a like . We had the same definition of love, life success and relationships. He treated me like every woman dreams to be treated. His best friend since he was 5 had a problem with our relationship and stopped talking to my guy. It broke his heart and being the loyal guyhe is he had to let me go. I know he got married a few years ago. I still think about him once in a while. you never forget your first love.

I've been with my boyfriend 3 years, but we first met when we lived next door when we were about 2 years old - our families were friends, we went on holidays etc together but when we were about 8 they moved away. I often used to wonder if I'd already met 'The One', who he was and what he was doing and where he was, etc. I didn't realise he was The One till we got together 3 years ago - we were both in our early thirties, so I guess the best things in life are worth waiting for! But he is my soulmate, the love of my life and I can't imagine how I managed so long without him.

Meeting the love of my life was the best and worse thing that could have happen to me I guess....we were friends first for a long time and briefly it became intimate.....I always knew I had feelings and love this person, but would hide it because of our friendship, but they came to me...and for awhile it was like living a dream that came true...but somehow somewhere something went wrong and they walkee away from my love, my friendship from me altogether...I don't know if I will know or remember what life was like before I felt the pain of a broken heart, but life goes on....so they say..I want to move on and I put effort into it but the memories, the feelings, and the dreams all come back crashing down on me like a Mac truck falling from the sky....I try to let go but this love has a strong hold on me.

Unfortunately, NO, We are both from different countries and right now we are working on how to finally be together, there is no single day in my life since we met that i havent thought of him, as much as possible we do our best to communicate with all sorts of technology we could have, i know it is a big sacrifice but i just dont want to be with anyone else but just him and I know he feels the same way...

I have been in love with 6 people during my lifetime. I still love them all. I've been married to my wife for 27 years, together for 31. I love her.
What do you mean the love of my life? There have been six.

Call me old fashioned, but I met my (now husband) at 15, fell in love and married at 18 and am still with my husband. He is still the love of my life. I feel very lucky.

I love my wife, but I still have a tiny smouldering candle for my first serious girlfriend. Both ladies received a proposal, but the ex turned me down. I took my time recovering, and met my wife, but I still think of the other lady, only occasionally, and in a caring sort of way.

They say that your first love is your true love this depends....as we move on through life we take different roads and become different people achieving and requiring different levels of love, yet we somehow remember our first love, when life was innocent. To all the soul mates out there long may it live.

Married 23 years and i could be that aunt? listen and believe her .......it's all true.
Good luck to her, i wish her all the best, she will understand this quote because i understand her:
If he is the first thing you think of when you wake up, the only thing you think of when you're awake, and the last thing you think of before you go to bed, then he is really somebody special."
