When I was coming home the other night w/ my wife, about 2 miles from home, our tire sounded odd, like a rock was inside of it. The roads were bad and rough, due to snow and ice. Now, when you push on the car or get inside of it or out, it makes a noise, like metal rubbing. Does anyone know what this may be?

On an 05 Accord? Did you somehow get some type of debris logged in the suspension or undercarriage? Did you possibly hit something that did damage to the suspension? The 05 Accord has a pretty tightly tuned front suspension so often even a minor impact with an object can cause problems. I suggest that you cross your fingers, look under the car to check for debris, road scum build up so on and hope that's what it is. If so remove it and go on, if you don't see anything (which is highly likely in the Accord) You may just have damaged suspension that will need the attention of the Dealer. In some case this damage may be covered by factory warranty but could also be claimed on your insurance. Do yourself a favor though and don't be in a hurry to file a claim with insurance if it is road damage. If you can afford it pay it out of pocket and leave the insurance alone. Hope I've helped.

Maybe there's some frozen ice under there so maybe the noise will go away when it melts. Of course look under there for obvious road debris which has gotten caught up under the chassis. You could jack that tire up off the ground and try rotating the tire to see if there's a noise or binding etc.

it will be your cv joint on one in all of your axles making noise. regularly even as they bypass undesirable you listen a clicking noise even as turning and fewer than acceleration. rubbing noise may be brakes, suspension and quite a few different different issues. and save in ideas noise travels, so it ought to sound like it comoing from the front left yet extremely come from precise hand rear. I reccomend taking vehicle to a restore save or broking and performance then testchronic the motor vehicle with you and also have vehicle inspected for harm. do you keep in mind those days operating over some thing interior the line way?
