how can i locate cell phones of my own as well as of friends via web for free?just putting the cell no. in the web and the map should appear to show the exact location of the cell phone!

Unlikely you will ever find such a thing. Cell phone makers are sensitive to privacy issues and make the phones in such a way that one cannot get GPS information unless the phone user is somehow notified.

So, unless you have physical access to the phone and put a hacked location service program on it, not going to work.

Location services, such as provided by Sprint and Verizon, require that the phone user "accept" the location query.

I tried one, but charged $14.95 to get the number, so don't know of a free site.
