A tag is where two people on the same team touch thereby allowing the person who is not currewntly legal to replace the wrestler who is. Usually tags are made by the slapping of hands, but are sometimes blind, where the non-legal person touches the legal man on any part of the body. As long as the official has seen the tag, the person who was on the outside of the ring becomes active and takes the place of the person he just tagged

A tag is a high five or a slap of hands (or a hand on a back) to signify the legal man (the one in the ring) to get out in 5 seconds and let his partner take over in the match. tag matches are 2v2, 3v3, the very odd 4v4. winner is decided by pinfall or submission, DQ means the other team wins, and theres really no chance of countout. Only the legal men can be pinned or pin, or be submitted or submit. Tornado tag needs no tagging. There is also an elimination tag match, where one wrestler is pinned, his team is down a man and the match continues. Classic team matches include TLC, ladder, Tables, and hell in a cell. The winners of the match usually go up the ladder to contend for the World tag team championships On Smackdown! and on Raw, the WWE tag team titles. Great tage teams include the Hart Foundation, the Brothers of Destruction, the Legion of Darkness, and the NWO.
