I hear that using ones that are unofficial can be complicated. Like you've got to bridge a connection to a network adapter (whatever that is). Please tell me what you've got to do to set up an official nintendo usb wifi connector as i'm not very good on complicated stuff on computers and would like to know how hard it is to set up before i buy it. thnx.

I didn't think it's too complicated, but then again I'm not sure of your technical capabilities. It's a matter of running the CD-Rom software (the driver), plugging it in and synching the system (DS or Wii) to the USB dongle.

You go through the set-up on the DS or Wii by telling it to use the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB. Then on your computer, while the set-up is being attempted, you click the registration tool (in the notification area by the clock), click the system name (this will be obvious)and tell it to allow the connection. Then you're done.

in spite of whether you have the Nintendo wifi USB or another style of instant internet, you will no longer have the flexibility to connect your DS to the internet with dial-up. you desire DSL or cable or something. Sorry. D:
