I would not be offended, rather flattered that she found me attractive enough to ask out. Just like a guy asking me out I suppose.
I would have to turn her down but I would try to do it gently, just as I do when turning a man down. It may be easier here though as I think I would just need to explain I was straight.

First, let me say that although I am straight, I do get flattered by any compliment, may it be from a man or woman. I am secure in myself and I know what I will or will not do.
Secondly, I would honestly tell her that I don't swing her way!

Homosexuals kind of weird me out, to be honest. I mean, they can do whatever they want, no problems, but I don't really appreciate being around flamboyant gays or butched-out lesbians. So, if one approached me, I wouldn't be offended or upset, but I'd leave quickly, that's for sure!

At my age, I would be Extremely Flattered!
I think would my response would be, "Would you like to join me for a drink? And would you mind if I asked you some questions?" I would hope she'd say yes. I'm pretty curious. And nosy.

No reason to be offended would turn her down the same way you turn a guy down.
