Let's say you find a democrat who says they wish harm on a republican. Should the republican respond by wishing harm on a democrat? Or do you think that it is 'us against them' , when we are all americans? Is only one side responsible for the division in this country? If so, is it then OK to further that division, since you didn't start' it? PLease try to answer outside of your party...I like individual responses, not canned ones.

Bad behavior never justifies equally bad behavior. That holds true for the political context, as well as any other situation. The mark of a moral person or group is their ability to act in a more noble way than those who transgress against them. Look at any sagacious figure, or any moral beacon in history, whether it is Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa, or Jesus Christ and you will see something that is very consistent in each of their behavior. They all agree that one cannot meet fire with fire, violence with violence, and malice with malice if one aims to better mankind.

So in short it is never okay for a Democrat to wish harm against a Republican, or vice versa. If they all are true servants of America, they should be conflicted about which direction to take this country, not who is most deserving of derision or pain.

H,

I guess you could consider it dividing a nation. When I was a kid I was taught that two wrongs never make a right. What do you think?
