It relaxes me. The sound, the smell, and the feeling of the rain - I love it.
There's nothing like taking a long walk in the rain, and then go home, change into warm dry clothes, and curl up on the couch, with a cup of hot tea and a good book or a movie.
Lovely!!
And, if I can't fall asleep and it's raining I just crack the window open a little bid, and the sound will put me right to sleep. It's better than sedatives.

When I was younger, it used to make me EXTREMELY HORNY and I had fantasies about meeting the 'perfect man' while on a long walk in the rain and ... well, you can finish that idea yourself, can't you. Now I'm older and 'married forever' to my husband of ten years, and I am 'much more practical' about rainy weather, and making sure that HE is 'well and properly dressed for the weather' when it's raining (and when it's sunny, snowy, whatever). Now the rain may 'just get me wet' when I'm out in it, but I STILL LOVE IT, especially when we can come home and curl up with a nice warm/hot drink and 'just be the two of us' together. That is WAY BETTER an 'end' to that 'long walk in the rain' than any sexual fantasy could EVER BE.

Rain enlivens my spirit .I love to run in the rain..A great excuse to have a wet T shirt contest....

It makes my hair all fuzzy and my clothes soggy, which can sometimes be enough to get me in a bad mood.
It generally depresses me, because I like to walk and can't when it's raining.

rain brings out my inner child. When it rains I get my kids and go outside to play in it with them, we get wet, muddy and have fun.

If I'm outside and it's raining, I get wet.
If I'm indoors and it's raining, I get happy and feel peaceful and relaxed.
