It would not be grounds to not hire you, b/c that is illegal, however; employers have ways around that like saying they just didn't hire you b/c they had a more qualified applicant or something. I would not disclose it at an interview. I would wait until after being hired

It is a law that they cant fire you for being pregnant but it is not a law that they have to hire you. If you get the job of your dreams finally, what are you going to tell them when in two months you need to to take 6 weeks off (after only working there a few months) that you are having a child.
Kind of deceptive. I would tell them up front that you are really needing this job to help take care of this little life inside. You will be dedicated and willing to do anything to see that the job is done correctly and effeciantly.(sp?) I would say that atleast 65% of the people you are interviewing for have children or have had children and know that you need certain things to provide for them.
In sum, I would suggest telling them up front as to not piss anyone off later for being deceptive which might inturn get you fired later on or put a bad mark on your bosses brain. (less raises, less respect) Do the right thing.
If you cant find a job right off an NEED one, try a temp service while you are looking.

Better safe than sorry, I did the same thing your doing...and when I was hired I just said oh, I thought you saw my belly. I lucked out and got the best boss in the world! And didn't have problems. Pregnancy is not grounds to not be hired, however alot of employers take it into consideration. I would keep doing what your doing and play dumb! Good luck.

I hope you don't take this to any offense but are you sure this is the best time for you to be looking for a job. You have as to say 2 months left for your full pregnancy. Why not start looking for a job after.
But it is your choice but maybe the best thing to do is to tell your potential employer that you are pregnant. So if you are accepted you might qualify for a left of absence.

That's a tuff one. I think that if you aren't at a job for a year before you have the baby you aren't eligible for materinity leave. I'd check into it to make sure. This would be a concern cause you're having your baby soon. They can't not hire you for being pregnant but companies have ways around that law. :( You could wait a couple months, have the baby and then look for a job?

in case you desperately want this activity good now (we could say for well-being reward/the money) then it could be on your benefit to no longer say something (even nevertheless i be attentive to how that sounds) yet in maximum situations no person is going to hire you on an prolonged term foundation with interest that interior 6 months you would be attempting to grant start and then probable require maternity circulate away time. you ought to to evaluate performing some temp artwork at this element that could sparkling up your difficulty around the board for the reason that those form of employers are looking for for for short term workers to start with.

I would let them know during your interview. Because if they won't hire you for being pregnant then, how do you know they are going to be good employers. If they discriminate you for that reason, what else are they going to discriminate you for?

It is against the law for them not to hire you just because you are pregnant and you don;t have to disclose that you are pregnant. Will this keep them from hiring you if they know you are pregnant, probably so don't tell them.

by law you are under no obligation to tell a possible employer that your pregnant. its against the law for them to deny you employment because of pregnancy. its under the discrimination laws of employment... if you were hired, then you should tell them, but they cant fire you for it. depending on the job, anyway.

Personally, I understand you. I wouldn'y say anything. But it shouldn't be too big of a deal, as you won't qualify for FMLA anyway, so any time you take off after being hired would be at your own risk.
