I am 28 weeks this coming week and I am going through the same, this is my second, and I have to say there is a few things I have done that have helped me. Sleeping on my sides are starting to hurt a bit so I prop pillows and try to sit a bit to sleep, and always put a thick pillow to have your legs elevated. I also get spasms and have my husband give me leg and back massages, that helps. It is going to be uncomfortable but you can try these and also do not eat anything to late, you get terrible heartburn. If you do get it, I take tums, let it rest on your tongue and let it dissolve slowly, it works.

OK... for the heartburn.. ranitidine.. your doctor can prescribe it or tell you an Over the counter med that can help and not hurt the baby.. I had horrible heartburn with my daughter and ranitidine was a god-send!!.. For the sleep... go to walmart and buy yourself a big old body pillow... you should be able to arrange yourself on that to be able to sleep.. it supports you expanding tummy and really does help alot... Whenever you are relaxing (watching tv etc).. put your feet up.. it helps to reduce swelling and pain. The most important thing is to try and relax (hard without sleep i know) but put on some soothing music, put your feet up and use pillows to prop you in places you need support. Close you eyes and imagine the nicest, most relaxing place you have ever been and then visit there inside your head. Just remember hon, in eleven weeks or so, you will have a little one who is worth all of this stuff!!! Probably doesnt seem like it now, but it really is worth every ache and pain!!!....

You're almost done. It's normal to feel like you do. If you're still working, stop. Your body is telling you to rest. Get a comfy chair, put your feet up, eat some healthy snacks and invest in large quantities of TUMS. Lying flat will make your heartburn worse. I slept in a Lazy Boy for the last month of my pregnancy. Read some books, rub your belly, get things ready. Don't feel guilty about being cranky. It's important for you and your baby that you stay calm and well rested. Take advantage of offered help and think about the end result of all this crap you're going through. Trust me, it'll be worth all of it.

Trust me...I know all too well how you feel. All you can do is have daddy to be give you some massages (or pay to have them done) and try to enjoy your time as much as possible. Sleep a lot...because soon that will change.
I was pregnant with twins last time and you want to talk about discomfort. I couldn't even life my leg to go up a step. I was on bedrest for the last two months and had preterm labor and was in and out of the hospital a ton of times. No one said it would be easy, but the pay off is worth it.

Time for a pregnancy massage at your favorite day spa!!!
I'm 39 weeks and I know exactly how you feel. Some things that help include staying upright after eating, sleep with your head/back slightly elevated, try going for some walks even if they're short, a warm (not too hot) bath, drink plenty of water (dehydration can make you feel awful).
Hope that helps and only a few more weeks until your beautiful bundle of joy is in your arms!
Regards,
mari

I think that is about the worst part of pregnancy for going insane because you don't feel almost done yet.
Remember time goes fast as long as you aren't pregnant. : )
Try to do something(s) unrelated to the pregnancy. Goofy movies are good. Take walks.
Conversely, I liked reading novels with pregnancy in it. I would ask if there was a good ending. Find a friend who is also pregnant, preferably due after you. It helps to feel that at least you are closer than they are.
Good luck!

I am only a little over 23 weeks and I have been very uncomfortable too...back aches bad and heart burn. I bought at snoogle pillow at babies r us. They are pricy $52.99 but it makes sleep so much easier, and I see a chiropractor every 2 weeks. I suggest a massage as well. I am thinking of making an appointment for this weekend to see if it helps...good luck to you

this is a small price to pay for what you r going to get as reward. for heart burning you can try having banana empty stomach or having cold milk without suger. and for getting good sleep try to meditate
