Ovulation usually occurs around the 12th or 14th day after your LMP. Things can happen, but there is a very slim chance after your period. I'll explain why. Your body prepares for the egg during ovulation. Your endometrium lining thickens to prepare for the egg. If there is no egg. The endometrim sheds and the body rids itself of it and also the egg. Thus, it may be possible to conceive at the beginning of your period. It is very unlikely after. This is what the rhythm method of contraception it based on. You can not conceive at just anytime of the month. There must be an egg.

That's typically referred to as the rhythm method of birth control. Ovulation usually occurs on the twelfth to the fourteenth day of your cycle. Count from the first day of your period that many days and that is when you should be fertile. After ovulation, the egg only lives from twenty four to forty eight hours, then you are not fertile again until the next month. Keep in mind that sperm can live as long as ten days inside your body.

Although the best time to right pregnant is about the middle of your cycle, it is possible to get pregnant any time even just after your period has finished so don't use it as a method of contraception

best time does not mean it is the only time....
you can get pregnant anytime... with multiple forms protection even.... there is only one way to not get pregnant... do not have sex! bottom line.... if you are not prepared for the consequences..... and pregnancy would be the happier of those consequences..... do not particpate in the actions.....

you can get pregnant anytime the penis enters the vagina without a condom or other form of protection. if you dont want that chance, then use protection or dont have sex.
