No. you don't have to pay anything if your under 16. However, if ur over 16 or you go to a private school then you do have to pay over £20 for each GCSE. coursework doesn't cost you anything, whether you are 17 and go to a private college or not.

Only if you dont turn up to the exam itself then you have to pay for it which is some where between 15-25 pounds the only way you can get outta paying 4 a missed exem is if you have a doctors note.xx

No of corse not. The school can't make you pay to do anything that you dont want to. Most people don't like school so most wouldn't pay to take tests. I like school but I still wouldn't pay to take my GCSEs.

Sorry, I don't get the question. Do you mean do you have to pay to do it? In answer to that, you don't if you're under 16 in the UK. But to do those at college or whatever you have to pay (or show evidence of benefits or get an employer to pay)

You pay for your own calculator, pens, pencils, paper, folders etc.
I think you may also need to provide your own materials if you are taking woodwork or something similar.
Other than those things I don't think you need to pay for anything else unless you want to include food and school uniform.

No. The only payments you have to make are any resits you want to take and materials e.g. stationary. In some technology subjects such as Food, Wood, Metal work, Textiles you (by that i mean i had to) provide your own materials.

it might depend on where u are but in the UK u dont have to pay 4 GCSEs

I had to pay to take the IGCSEs, but my school wasn't in the UK... You guys are lucky! (Well, as lucky as one can be when faced with an endless chain of exams) :-p

i think you only pay for any resits that you mighht wanna take if you're not happy with your results.
