I have comcast high speed so the internet is always on, which explains the popups.. but the popups are weirdd, like penis enlargement pills and adult friend finder? I don't know why I'm getting these, but my aim is also sending everyone on my buddy list weird links that when you clicking on them gives them a virus. I can't even go on my computer because it's so messed up! Help!!

Hi there,

It sounds as though you have a number of malware infections on your computer, but the IM one is known as Worm Licat Gen:

The best and easiest way to remove this infection is by installing the Free Trial of Prevx1. This will scan your PC and remove this and any other infections free of charge.

Update and run your Anti-Virus program. Don't have one? You can run a free online scan from CA.

http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/scan.aspx

Download, update and run Spybot---http://www.safer-networking.org/ . Don't forget to use the Immunize feature.

Download, update and run Adaware---http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/products/select_your_product.php

After you get it clean add spyware blaster.

Download SpywareBlaster---http://majorgeeks.com/download2859.html

SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents it from ever being installed.

It's main features include:
- Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
- Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
- Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
