As a native Hoosier I grew up eating breaded pork tenderloins..you know the ones that are as big as your head and 3 times the size of the bun. Very popular at the State Fair! I have since moved to MI and have realized that the only place you can get these gems are in Indiana. WTF? I would like to try to make them or even better, if anyone knows of a place in metro Detroit where you can get them that would be great.

Sweet!! Thanks. I don't think that anyone outside of Indiana really understands.

:) I love the breaded pork tenderloin discussions, makes me proud to be a Hoosier:)...turns out there are entire websites devoted to the subject! Evidently Culver's Restaurant www.culvers.com (I've never been to one) has pretty good ones. There IS one in MI, at the Southland Shopping Center. (I have NO IDEA where that is!:) I found this info at www.roadfood.com. Below is the thread. There is an entire blog of people who are suffering from "tenderloinitis" like you! :) Good luck and happy eating!

I grew up in Iowa and we love our giant pork tenderloins! I used to make them for the restaurant. I can give you the basics, just email me! They can easily be made at home.
