Did the West beat the East? And the North shut-out the South, 27-0 (Senior Bowl)? I liked the QB comparisons in the Senior Bowl, as well.

juicetke, there is no comparison between the AFC an the NFC, hasn't been for ten years.
But I do enjoy both of these games going against the SEC. Guess I am just tired of hearing how "great" the SEC is.

Why is this being turned into an Ohio State thing? Is that the only thing the SEC accomplished this year?

Because the game didn't count for anything and they have a bunch of contrived rules that don't allow a lot of things, like blitzes. I'm a Big East guy myself, so I liked seeing the North beat the South, but I have to say that the Senior Bowl really has no bearing on which league is better.

I thought you were smarter than this. Judging by many of your other answers I was beginning to sort of think you were an all right guy that knew his football. You know that players that go to one all-star game don't play in another which means that good players get spread around. Also and most important is that only seniors go which rules out 90% of the good players in the SEC. You can't even blitz in those all-star games which means Troy Smith wasn't running for his life. Nice try though. I guess if the NFC beats the AFC in the pro bowl your going to say the NFC is better too?

If the Big 10 is so dominant then why did their Champion get pummeled by the SEC Champion? Hahahahahahaha!!!! I know that's only two teams from a conference and that doesn't say anything about the conferences as a whole but neither does taking a few players from a few teams.

It could be worse. You could be a fan of a team in the SEC like I am(Tennessee) and have to listen to the Florida fans all Summer.

Hey, get over Ohio State. For one thing, all of the players in the SEC leave for the pros early so the Senior Bowl doesn't count for crap. All I have to say slim is 41-14. Also, I think that the Big Ten guys on the East slowed down the game a little too much.

So Brutus, you think your boy Troy Smith played well in the Senior Bowl? 5-15 for 52 yds. with almost every pass not even close to the receiver? Troy Smith will be lucky to be drafted on the second day of the draft, and will probably end up making some practice squad, the dude just plain sucks. He cant throw the ball, he has no pocket presence, and cant feel the rush on him, and he is slow, not to mention he is too short to cut it in the NFL as a QB.

Um, Georgia, Auburn, LSU and Florida all won major bowl games over ranked teams.
You're using the Senior Bowl as a reference? A game where each player is trying to showcase themselves for the draft, regardless of the effect on the team?
By the way, I think that you meant to use the word "dominant" instead of "dominate".
