Today in a class we discussed discrimination etc, i bought up the subject of the town i live in as there is a big cultural divide between 2 main cultures, i commented that whenever there is a crime against one side (not obviously racially motivated for example a smashed window became a racial incident once despite no evidence of it having anything to do with race!) it is ALWAYS assumed in local papers that the white british are responsible! never the other way around tho!!
I was then more or less accused of being a white supremist by my tutor! and there were alot of raised eyebrows! i was so annoyed as this was not what i was saying at all, i was simply stating a fact!
is this PC gone mad? or was i in the wrong? anyone else had similar experiences!

You were not wrong. You have to understand that much of the teaching profession is riddled with PC, left wing-ism, and feminism. They are pursuing their own agenda, and are indoctrinating children into their way of thinking whilst they are still young and impressionable. Using words like 'Racist' and 'Sexist', or, in your example, 'white supremacist', is simply a way of trying to stifle debate and frightening you into being quiet. This isn't teaching, it is indoctrination, and is a gross abuse of power. It is also childish name calling.

If they cannot give you a reasoned answer without resorting to childish name calling, perhaps you should be taking the class instead.

PS. I have a lot of experience with lefty/PC/feminist lecturers, and I know how they operate. Perhaps they need reminding about the slander laws. Do not be cowed.

The state leans heavily on the education system to come up with the PC goods.
To a point where even failing to pick up on a pupils potentially racist comment could cost the tutor dearly.
The govt is aiming for the situation where you just dont want to get into the subject unless you show whites in the negative.

Well,thank goodness for the internet.
Take a look at the support you have.We are many,we all recognise the situation but we have to hide our opinions anonymously in cyberspace.

Use your vote.Get this oppressive ,tyrannical ,big brother govt out of office.Things wont change overnight, but at least we will be able to discuss our thoughts in public.

Respect for all (Including whites), that's what PC ought to have been about. How can it be politically correct when it is morally wrong? I would report your teacher for racial discrimination or at least threaten them with that, I certainly would not tolerate racism from an "educator". (White on white racism is still racism).
The problem with PC is that it was high-jacked by a great many middle-class whites who lacked life experience and understanding. There is a lot of this in the media and a lot of it in councils and schools. These people are making things much worse as they undermine the credibility of intelligent liberal whites who rightly oppose racism in our society.
They could be called "Over-compensatory Racists" because they seem to be attempting to "compensate" ethnic minorities, but in a way that is racist against whites. Racism against anyone is 100% wrong whatever their colour, creed or nationality.
Your tutor is a cretin and is unfit to be in a position of influence.

today on the news i heard that young radical muslims are the asian equivalent of the bnp because of their views, intolerance and racism towards non-muslims, specifically against whites. This will cause an uproar of course because so far whatever happens racists only ever seems to apply to whites. When will the pc brigade take their heads out of their own a***s and smell the coffee

That has never happened to me, but then again, I live Up North. You were in the right though. Whenever something is generalized to always accuse one race or another it is racist. You were just stating a fact.

Every one is more than ready to jump on a person that might say something different but the real reason we Are all so afraid and fear makes us re act in different ways of being mean and not so kind.

it has gone bonkers. It is now impossible to dislike someone of a different colour .... your motives must be 'racial', not that the person is bossy or noisy or just not your cup of tea. Witness jack being interviewed on Friday night on Celeb Big Bruv - he said "I just didn't click with Shilpa, just didn't get on with her" but he was pursued by Davina McCall who wanted to get a 'racial' motivation. the world is truly going mad.

you are so right i am sorry to say that racism is only called that when it is the action of a white person on ethnic minority. these idiots can't or won't see that sometimes the ethnic majority is discriminated against. It seems that for all our pride in our freedom of speech it doesn't exist anymore
