Looking for a Natural Remedy for Water Retention. I am healthy and in shape and drink lot's of H20! I also watch my sodium intake carefully. But every week out of the month I retain water very badly. Don't recommend seeing DR-he knows and says tough it out. Looking for a natural "secret" to rid my body of this excess water. Thanks!

You might want to try all natural Alfalfa Complex. Alfalfa is the richest land grown source of trace minerals. The roots of this plant burrow deep into the soil and absorb the important trace minerals and elements such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron and phosphorous. Combined with chlorophyll and other organic salts, these factors seem to balance the so-called salt system of the body and act as a natural diuretic.

Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions or if interested in the website.

I haven't tried it yet but I just bought a tea...Herbal Diuretic. It's suppose to help with that... My ankles get swollen sometimes and I went and bought this tea.
I found it in the natural food section in my local grocery store.

The tea is by Traditional Medicinals.
Research it to see if it's something you may want to try.

Good luck!
(You may want to look up foods that have diuretic properties... I think cucumber is one of them.)
