she does'nt care about Bill in any way whatsoever. He was a steppingstone to where she is.

I totally agree with Dovie. The fact is, many of the top government officials cheat on their wives -- and maybe the women do the same. Point is - Clinton was a fine president and the scandal wouldn't have had an effect on his ability to run a country. The Christian conservatives jumped on that to ruin his credibility. Though look at how many conservatives have been busted for the same.
People despise strong women. There is a double standard in this country. Naturally, Hillary is often described as a ***** though a strong male candidate is glorified. I'm sure Hillary has forgiven but not forgotten. But she isn't a sidekick to Bill. She has her own life and strengths and I hope she kicks *** in the election.

I think she like many women who have been cheated on by men they love have just learned to accept that he is not perfect. If you look at what she has gained by this marriage... and what has she lost? Bill likes the ladies, he can get the ladies! But... he stays with his wife, he supports his family, she has learned to live with his vice of infedility just as if it was another annoying habit such as snoring or leaving the toliet seat up.
There is much more to marriage than sex, she understands that and they honor their vows of "better or worse" not matter what happens. That is family values, and that should be an example for us all.

I think that she was mortified by his behavior and probably way more hurt than she has ever let on. I think too that she has shown remarkable strength of character and class by not stopping and running away from the public. She is her own person and I think that Bill probably recognizes that in her. He had the opportunity to cheat and took it. I think that speaks for itself and his character. It's too bad for him that all of his good works will be overshadowed in history by his infidelity to his wife and his lies. What a shame - he's such a brilliant man.

I think it hurt her, but I don't believe she didn't know about it. Wives know a lot of things, and put up with a lot of things (though they may hate their husbands for it and make private life Hell). But I think she also understands that the public wants her to seem approachable and normal and just like them, rather than the ranting she-hulk that the rightwing talking heads want her to be.

come on of course she's not laughing about it but give her a break. it was and is her choice as to wether or not to forgive him and she obviously chose to do so. even though they had a problem they have been toghether a long time and obviously love each other and you don't throw away years of love and commitment without a lot of soul searching. i don't think i would have made the same decision but you don't really know for sure until it happens to you. seriously it's thier business anyway not ours!

Well MC strap on (disgusting and inappropriate moniker I might add) She has most likely had more affairs with women than Bill has.

No, but their marriage is more of an arrangement than anything else.
