Free and safe download to find and remove Spyware/Malware from my computer?

Can some please recommend a really good free and safe spyware/malware search and remove download? My computer has been hijacked and the spyware/malware is attaching itself to my emails. When I attempted to open an email my PC cillin blocks it and states that it has prevented confidential info from being passed through the web. Im glad it blocks it but its not removing the spyware/malware. Help!

ADAWARE does a very good job.. ( for starters)

but probably you should download another one, to make sure you have "everything" covered

and another EXCELLENT package (complementary to the first) is SPYBOT

BTW, when you are done with them (and have cleaned up your system!) you can uninstall them easily. :-)

Froggybot gave you 2 excellent programs. They do work great. Don't forget to use the Immunize feature of spybot. I would also add spyware blaster to your security.

My answer must be to bypass to perfect purchase or Walmart and seem for an anti-secret agent ware/antivirus software which consists of Norton Antivirus or McAfee. At walmart McAfee many times prices $25-$27. wish this facilitates.
