there was a king who went to the monk to
learn martial arts.The monk asked the king to
kick in a certain way,but the king refused
saying,I know this....Teach something new...
The other day monk invited the king for tea...
The monk asked the king to fill up his cup with
all the tea in the kettle......The king was surprised and said the tea will overflow if I do
this..............The monk said the same way
whatever I will teach will overflow until you
"empty your cup"...............

moral is : when learning something forget what
you already know.........

I think your story has a good valuable moral!!! But you might want to be careful if you forget what you already know instead of just adding to what you already know you might just end up stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
