I feel inferior in a social gathering always....how can i overcome this?

I definitley agree with the comment above. I for the longest time felt inadequate, a bore, and uninteresting at social gatherings. Much of this stemmed from my own misguided perceptions of myself. As I get older, have more experience, and gain more confidence in my interestingness (for lack of a better word) I feel more confident in social situations.
