Which hotel??
I’ve been living there in Fuerteventura for a half year and it was great fun.
Don’t expect heavy night life, as you won’t find it there. Fuerteventura is called the "Quiet Island"...
Although, in Calate de Fuste you will have more possibilities to dine out and go out having a couple of drinks than in other resorts.
I recommend the disco pub situated in a Hotel called Broncemar Beach, it’s great, we had big fun there. Sometimes they have karaoke nights...
There is a local bar, which is called "El Capitan", it’s just on the opposite street of the Barcelo Hotel. There you can meet lots of nice people and many locals.
I can recommend an Indian restaurant in Caleta de Fuste which is very, very good!! But I don’t remember the name!
Anyway, I recommend you to hire a car and go around a bit, visit the villages (Betancuria is beautiful!!) and the famous sand dunes in Corralejo (North) and also the south and its fantastic Caribbean beaches. Costa Calma and Morrojable...

Caleta de Fuste is nice, the main area is quite a small place and has been purpose built for tourists. But everything is in one area, bars/restuarants/shops...... and all are near the beach. The beach is lovely, very clean and spacious, it can get very hot but also windy sometimes (so be carefull). Fueteventura is a lovely island and worth visiting other resorts, towns etc.... Hope this helps.

With three thousand hours of sunshine a year Fuerteventura is an all year round holiday destination. Its seductive sandy beaches are the finest in the Canaries and the worn and weathered volcanic landscapes and the amazing sand dunes make this an island of unusual outstanding beauty.
