I want to know if there's any way to tell a family member that I know something really personal about them and not get yelled at or no longer be trusted for actually doing it and keeping it a secret from them??

Do I tell that family member what I know and ask them to forgive me for doing it and knowing about it or should I keep it a secret for the rest of my life??

It's probably best to keep it to yourself. Your family member will likley want to know who you got the information from and that could potentially cause problems with other family members or friends. Also, remember that what you think you know and what the truth actually is may be too different things. If the family member wanted to discuss it with you, they would have confided in you.

It depends on what it is. If it is something important that will affect their life in some way, then maybe you should sit down and talk to them about it. If it is something that may hurt them, then it may be better left alone.Think it through before you act on it.
