I'm old and I earned a BA in Philosophy from a private all female liberal arts college as back then young ladies simply didn't go into business, marketing, law etc. It was either that or home economics, nursing, or teaching................... I never actually used it of course but it did land me my first job in personel which paid well and I loved it.

This day and age you want to study something real, practical, marketable that you can earn the buck and make a life.

Don't major in any of the liberal arts is my opinion.
