I think there was no real possible outcome except for Shilpa to win, in order to redeem Channel 4 and Endemol Productions. So I am rather cynical about the public vote (who checks this?) which brought about a result that was very convenient to repair the strained diplomatic relations between India and the UK. Am I alone in thinking that this was the result that Channel 4 wanted, rather than the majority of the public?

yes i think its rigged.
and if shilpa never won india would have withdrawn all its assets out of britain, I heard some plonker say as i was watching telly one night.
what are the indian assets?
Are they the indians themselves?

I am glad that she won, as someone else has said she remained dignified and I think that won the public over. She did seem a very nice grounded person as well.

I dont think that C4 could rig the votes either, but I wanted Ian to win!

Unfortunately for C4, the voting is incredibly heavily regulated to make sure that they can't fix it. Which means that Shilpa won fair and square.

I didn't watch it myself, but by the sounds of things her ability to remain dignified under great duress won most people over.

There are enough Indians in the UK to vote her into winning the show (plus other people who might have actually liked her more than the others).

Even though i think jermain should have won i don't think it was a fix. With all of the bullying she had to put up with behind her it is no wonder that she won. I think she won because she managed to stay, also people wanted to get jade back for calling her a looser. Take a long look at her now goody. xx

I don't believe it was, but more people who weren't voting before probably voted for Shilpa.

Yes it was a fix. Jermaine should have won. He was much nicer than anybody else in the house.

Even more puzzling to a cynic like me, was it more than just a coincidence that the first two to be chucked out last night were no less than
JACK AND DANIY.......

(Think about it.....)
