It use to come with windows like solitare.

It still does.
Click, "Start" on your Start Menu.
Click, "All Programs".
Click "Games", Minesweeper is under this menu.
I think you probably couldn't find it because Minsweeper used to be under Accessories > Games (or something) but they changed it to go under 'Games' a couple of releases ago.
