because that would put them on the same side as the current administration. they operate under the pathetic stance that if the conservatives look bad, they look good by default. so if anything that goes wrong, they will not side with the conservatives, or it is going wrong for them too.

If you are so against abortion, which is what this question is addressing, why don't you provide your name and address on this post and we will send ALL of the women and girls to be financially and emotionally supported by YOU and then when they have those children YOU can support them as well!

Abortion existed before Roe vs Wade and it will exist until the end of time!
Perhaps we should be more like the Middle Easterners and Men should be able to STONE a woman or girl to death for losing her virginity ....even in the case of rape or incest!
Government and Men have no voice in this debate in a country like America! Women are able to determine what happens with their own bodies!
YES I AGREE that we should be educating our young women to be more responsible towards their sexuality and protecting themselves against unwanted pregnancy!
Women don't usually have abortions "on a whim" as one answer put it!
Most agonize over that decision!

I'm a Liberal, and I speak out against abortion as birth-control and abortion on demand. The life of an unborn child is sacred.

While a liberal may not support abortion personally they will still support a womans right to an abortion as it is protected by law.
That is the big difference here liberals will support and defend ( the ACLU) the rights of all, ALL rights, not just the ones they want to enforce.

But they do, if it enhances their partisan political power.
But in Iraq, they are finding support in condemning the US and Bush, and not blaming their "freedom fighters" who are blowing up innocent people.
Just as in the Middle East, they blame Israel, but never condemn the jihadists who blow up innocent people.
Just as they find it politically expedient to support abortion.
Their political power trumps all.

I don't know about all liberals, but i am agaist any kind of violence, and that includes abortion!
Think about it Repulicans, has Bush ended or slowed down abortion? He could care less about abortion , after all i have never seen him at any anti-abortion rally.
I am for helping humanity, all humanity and war isn't always the way to go.
