I can understand your doctor's position, as we don't know if you have returned to regular cycling yet.
You will reduce your mental stress if you start following your physcial symptoms so that you know if/when you have ovulated. The time from ovulation to first day of period is consistent (about 14 days) but the rest of your cycle can vary greatly.
You can buy ovulation prediction kits, but I believe NFP (Natural Family Planning) is more effective and less expensive. If you chart your symptoms with NFP you will know if you have a late cycle (due to delayed ovulation) or if it is a pregnancy. (These charts also help your doctor answer your questions.)
NFP classes will also teach you the rules for timing intercourse to maximize your chance of conceiving.

Hi hon. I really feel for you. I went through the same situation myself. I miscarried my first child, and felt so depressed. It seemed that everywhere i turned all i could see were babies, pregnant women etc. It got to the point where i could really understand how women snatched babies.
I am now a mother of three beautiful daughters.
You have got to ride through this. keep telling yourself that it happened for a reason. Maybe there was a problem with the baby, but you WILL have a baby. you CAN conceive. You have proved that. You have got to rest your body now, and get it fighting fit for the next one. It is extremely common to miscarry your first baby. Your body doesnt want the foreign object in there - it doesnt understand. You will keep the next one.
Please dont slip into depression. Pick yourself up, and get yourself ready for the baby your ARE going to have. You will need all your strength for the pregnancy!!!
Good luck hon.
Thinking of you.

I'm so sorry for you honey. please have faith, i feel that your situation will turn out well. you know, a misscariage is a big deal, not just to your heart, but to your body. many women don't get a period for months after giving birth. give your body time to heal and fill your days with healthy relaxing activities. Once your body heals completly , and your heart begins healing, you will get your period. try not to worry about conceiving again so soon. it will happen, i promise, when you are ready. just take care of yourself right now.

depending on how old you are , you very well may have plenty of time to have a child, take some time to learn about your body and what makes it work, the library has a wealth of knowledge. don't totally rely on the doctor, it helps to educate your self. at least that's what i would do if i was trying to have a baby. but that would be kind of hard for me because I'm a dude.

I'm so sorry for youe loss. Try not to obsess about it. This will make it worse. God has a plan for you and your family and it will happen when he is ready. I'm sure that you will find out that you are pregnant again soon. Try to focus on making yourself healthy both mentally and physically. that way you will be ready.

Just wait it out, maybe you will end up pregnant and everything will turn out okay. If you feel really depressed maybe you should talk to your doctor. Also, being depressed will not help the baby if you are pregnant.

Once you stop trying to have a baby purposely....you will become pregnant. Thats how it always works. Maybe it just isn;t your time yet.
