Rational explanation: we are biological organisms that are programmed to survive (read reproduce). There weren't many ancestors that couldn't wait to die, since they probably died off before sending off their genes. Heaven is a human invention. People unconsciously behave in the way they truly think.
Not all cultures are afraid of death. There are many cultures that celebrate instead of cry at funerals. This is because they truly believe in a happy afterlife and want to go themselves. Of course, these cultures don't understand what an eclipse is and aren't very educated. Many Americans are now educated and can see that death may very well be the end, they may actually believe that they will not be immortal.

Being Materialistic we only think of Materials that we'll get there in heaven as the concept is,but we can't even think of leaving our things that we would surely have to do when we die. That's why everyone wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die.

It is a hasty generalisation to say ' nobody wants to die'.
There are people who are fed up of their life and want to end their life for some suffering or other. It is happening everywhere. They do not care about going to Heaven or Hell. It just doesn't occur to their mind at all.

I don't know if people don't want to die or are just afraid of dying. As humans, we are usually only comfortable with things we can see, prove, hear first-hand accounts about or experience for ourselves. That makes death one of those "scary" mysteries.
I personally am not afraid to die. The Bible says that the Everlasting is much better than Earth. I'm looking forward to being in a place where there is no pain and suffering. :-)

because once you die you are going somewhere where you wont have no more pain or have to deal with anything, that you are dealing with now. No one wants to die cause they dont know how they are going to die. they could die in peace or they could die in a bad way. Like getting rain over or hit or even shot so why would anyone want to die if they dont know how they where to die.

well to start.. death is a passage way to real life. a passage which all of us must undergo. it is not an easy way. it will take lots of courage to face it. we are afraid to die because we are used of our life hear on earth. observe a child age of 3 and an adult. an adult will not say he want to die but a child may or not say he will try. because an adult used to the life hear than the child. so we are afraid to die because we think that life here contents us.

It's nature. They know that there is no hell or heaven. I think atleast their conscience knew it. That's y they don't want to die .Who want to lose their identity?
