well, it's hard to say. these are relatively new produncts on the market. so, if you don't mind your baby being a test tube baby, drink away. but just to play it safe, i would stick to a nice orange spice tea or something. and stop worrying about losing weight. your pregnant!

I read somewhere you should not diet or try to loose weight at all during your pregnancy.
Here is some info on basic herbal tea:
Can I drink herbal tea?
Even though herbal teas are advertised as natural, safe, and healthy, they are not regulated as drugs are and they are not necessarily safe. Growing evidence suggests some herbs may be harmful to pregnant women. They are best avoided, though if you do choose to drink herbal teas, stick to those with ingredients found in an ordinary diet, such as cinnamon, orange, lemon, and apple.
Good luck and enjoy being pregnant.

Dehydration. Most slimming teas and other diet meds are a diuretic. They help the body shed water weight giving you the illusion of slimming down. It's super dangerous to a pregnant woman as it can inhibit the transfer of nutrients to the growing fetus and can cause birth defects. Not to mention it can cause some horrendious effects in the mom as well, constipation for one, which can lead to hemrroids and infection, and can also exagerage morning sickness.

You should not be losing weight while pregnant. Even overweight women are told not to lose weight while with child. Talk to your doctor about the number of calories you should be getting.
If you take diet pills or drink herbal teas after knowing the dangers of losing weight in pregnancy then you are being selfish. Eat healthy and listen to your doctor.
