Drugstore brands- try L'Oreal ($11-$13) or Neutrogena ($11-13). They are reasonably priced and work. They also include the brushes necessary to apply the makeup.
For Salon-grade brand-I use Everyday Minerals. I really like it because it doesn't feel like I have any makeup on, and it really is all natural. Bare Minerals has a bunch of fillers like talc (baby powder), cornstarch and bismuth oxychloride. It has a lot of junk in it and is pricey.
I like Everyday Minerals, but it is a pain waiting for your product and the kit system is kind of inconvenient ($26 for starter kit, which includes 2 foundations, concealer, finishing dust, blush, 1 brush, plus S&H). But it has Silk Dust and I like the product so I put up with it. The prices are comparable to drugstore brands ($12 for foundation). However, they get kind of spendy at first when you buy the brushes.
I would go with L'Oreal or Neutrogena for the convenience and price.

I use Affordable Mineral Makeup. I have tried a few others, but they either contains small amounts of preservatives or are made up with a lot of fillers. I have redness around my nose and on both cheeks. It covers the redness up very well and looks natural.
It brings out your natural beauty while minimizing any flaws or wrinkles. It is multi-purpose and very versatile. Affordable Mineral Makeup is micro-formulated using the highest quality minerals and botanicals; being naturally preservative and irritant-free it is also weightless and incredibly long-wearing. It does not clog pores and it has a naturally high SPF. It helps to calm and soothe irritated skin with its zinc content, and is water resistant. Providing excellent coverage.
No longer do you have to have the 'goopy' feeling or 'melting' feeling especially when it's hotter than hot, try Affordable Mineral Makeup and enjoy the glow and have fun with your makeup!
Affordable Mineral Makeup enables you to feel free, experience natural beauty and is good for you. They also have mineral lip glosses, eyeshadows, bonzers, and blushes.

I just started using the BareMinerals makeup. It is clean feeling and has a good look. I have had a recent breakout myself...but it was before switching the makeup. I only use foundation, blush and eyeshadow...but they have a good variety - not very cheap though...and it can be difficult to travel with (because it is in powder form). You might wanna try a beauty supply store. They usually have better quality stufff at cheaper prices than a salon or something.

I don't wear any makeup except mascara, so I don't know personally. But my friend had the same problem as you. She did try the mineral stuff (not the brand name, just the kind you buy at Walgreens) and she loves it. She has a dark complexion though, I don't know if that made the difference.
I think you have to have a young face to use it though. No wrinkles, that sort of thing.

Go for bare minerals. IT seems expensive, but it lasts a reallllly long time..so it is really not that expinsive. I spend less on that then I did when I'd wear revlon that I bought at the grocery store. It will work wonders with your rosacea too. its nice and gentle so it won't irritate it and it will cover it up.
