I have a new computer. Windows XP, SP2. I am having a problem seeing pictures and video on websites I go to. I've changed IE explorer settings, many times. I've upgraded to IE 7. No help. I've tinkered with my firewall, security settings. I've turned ALL security off. And still, no pictures. I thought maybe it was a Java thing. Tried reloading that. Nothing. Turned off Pop Up Blocker. Nothing. I tried downloading Adobe Flash Player. It won't let me load it. Nothing happens. I'm not getting any messages from the Information Bar in IE. I'm at my wits end. Anything you may know to try would be helpful.

Sounds like parental control is working. If you are an administrator on the computer you can turn the controls off. Also you might check with your isp and make sure they arent filtering content. If you are on a laptop and at a public place this could be what is going on.

Try virus and spyware scanning. If that doesn't work, you probably need to spend the 100-250 for firedog or geek squad to connect and fix this.
