Stockholder look at the f/s to check several ratios to decide that based on the current or past five years of performance to invest money in the corporation. On major equation for shareholders is the earnings per share ratio.
If it is short term barrowing, creditors look at the quick ratio to shopw that the business can payu their bills.
Long term debt creditors look at several ratios.
